Vivian Blackwell

My name is Viv. I used to love playing with water when I was younger, I just love walks along the river with my dog Ned. My artwork reflects metal hooks for a bit of memorabilia of how Lachlan and New Norfolk used to be with the hops industry. The hooks were used to secure the hop bags.

My artwork features positive memories growing up to the present, as well as some sad ones around me and my sister Sally.

There was a lot of action going on growing up- vegetables being grown, hops and berry seasons.

I like the look of my painting, it’s relaxing. I like all the bits and pieces, when I see my art I have thoughts of my mum and my sister Sally.

I’m proud of my work, and it was really nice meeting the other people.
